Not a government body

4devs.eu is not the European Union, an EU institution or agency, or any national government of Greece or elsewhere. We hold no public mandate and receive no state or EU funding. The .eu in our name is simply a regional domain we chose because we're building for developers across the EU. It isn't a government or institutional domain, and it isn't a claim to one.

What we actually are

We're a small, privately owned, for-profit startup, founded and based in Greece. We are open to developers anywhere in Europe, and starting from Greece, where the pricing gap for AI coding tools is felt hardest. The free tier described on this site is funded by direct-sold sponsor and ad revenue, not by any grant, subsidy, or public program.

Why we're spelling this out

Nothing on this site is meant to imply official status, and we'd rather correct that assumption directly than let it sit. If any wording elsewhere gives the opposite impression, tell us and we'll fix it.
